Surya - Le Sac Sportif et Élégant - is a design project I launched in 2023, rooted in the principles of a circular economy, where we creatively use materials that lost their original purpose to create unique, resistant and versatile bags. 

The first collection of 40 bags was produced and sold out in a few months, offering fair work opportunities to local tailors and creating an exchange of skills around designing, making and repairing.

Together with Cabo Verde Sustentável's objectives and ambitions these two projects form a cohesive ecosystem where each project contributes energy, ideas, resources and skills across the whole system.
