WIWO journalists interviewed Hotel Robinson’s Directors and TUI Group’s representatives, to report on post-pandemic challenges, sustainability, and the future of tourism on Sal Island, Cape Verde. I was commissioned to photograph the meetings, hotel interiors, outdoors, and one kite surfing training session.

Portraits

Featured in this section are the most recent portraits I was commissioned to take, in London and in Cape Verde. A professional kitesurfer, a singer, a [former] professional high jumper, an anchorwoman, a yoga teacher, and an entrepreneur. Sense of humor, Elegance, Femininity, Strength, and Beauty.

NEVER CLICK till it’s really OK to CLICK!

When we travel, wherever we take our cameras, it’s ok to appreciate different cultures and wish to take memories back home with us - images or art crafts - but it is NOT OK to take portraits of minors playing on the street, going to school, within private perimeters or not, because there is no difference from a kid born in Cabo Verde and one born in New York, or London or Stockholm or Delhi.

KIDS are KIDS and they don’t belong to any CLICK-FREEDOM-ZONE till their parents or guardians say otherwise.

It’s NOT OK for foreigners to take photographs of local kids without permission.
