I was born in Venice, raised in Milan, and spent nearly two decades living in London. My career encompasses photography, international politics and event organising, communication and creative services. Along the way, a growing interest in sustainability began to reshape the direction of my work.
Where I am now is exactly where I am supposed to be.
In the winter of 2019, upon completion of my studies in sustainability, I arrived on the island of Sal, wishing to connect like-minded individuals, sustainability thinkers and doers, and to share my creative and professional experience in a place I believed had great potential.
That intention became Cabo Verde Sustentável.
In 2022, a friend gave me a few discarded kites that remained at home for two years before becoming the starting point for Surya —Le Sac Sportif et Élégant — the circular design project I launched in 2024.
Today these different strands come together through Cabo Verde and the Art of Circularity — my interpretation of what circularity can become when creativity, design, available resources and community are brought together.
My relationship with Cabo Verde, its people, culture, food, music, the ocean, and the dogs remains one of the most fulfilling and rewarding experiences I have ever had.
