The Republic of Cabo Verde

The Republic of Cape Verde is an archipelago consisting of 10 volcanic islands situated circa 500 Km off the coast of West Africa, in the Atlantic Ocean; 9 islands are inhabited and 1 (San Luzia) is a protected Natural reserve. Situated approx 16.5388’ North of the Equator, below the Tropic of Cancer, and 23.0418’ West of the Prime Meridian of Greenwich, Cape Verde forms part of the Macaronesia ecoregion, together with the Azores, the Canary Islands, Madeira, and the Savage Isles.

The Brief

To research and collect photos, videos, and interviews featuring Sustainability in the region with the purpose of building a network of NGOs, corporations, and private individuals operating within the framework and fundamental principles of the Sustainable Development Goals, UN SDGs.

The Goal

To shed light onto sustainable solutions, business opportunities, sustainable living, and sustainable tourism initiatives with the local communities at heart.

To create an informative platform that illustrates Cabo Verde’s journey within the vast world of Sustainability.
